Wearing Dupuytren’s tape can provide a comfortable and consistent stretch to the finger joint and helps gently restore your range of motion.
Description
Dupuytren’s Tape is easy to use, less cumbersome than a brace and often allows full use your hand. Like a brace, it helps you open your hand but also allows you to easily close your hand into a fist and grip things normally.
Most people prefer Dupuytren’s Tape to a hard brace because it actually feels as comfortable as a second layer of skin. It can be worn all day and all night for comfort and support. It can also be incorporated into your hand therapy or rehabilitation.
Melissa Harris –
I started buying these Dupuytren’s Contracture tapes a few months ago as part of my physical therapy after surgery. I showed it to my physical therapist, she approved of it. It really helped. They do exactly what they are advertised to do. They help your finger stretch all day and increase range of motion. They made my physical therapy move along faster. They stick well and can stay on for days. They are MUCH better than a brace!!

I use this product on my mom’s Dupuytren’s Contracture, she’s quite elderly now and used to experience severe pains and discomfort all the time, until I started applying these tapes on her fingers, she says it helps. I find that they adhere well to the skin, and they are friendly on the skin too.
Something that is important that we learned the hard way. My mom’s skin is thin and tears easily. If the tape is put on with too much stretch or with wrinkles, it is much less comfortable for her. Also, I remove the tape slowly and this is better for her.
Tried some other tapes from the store and she had a bad reaction to them sometimes causing very itchy blisters.
Final Words – Very good quality, well worth the money. It’s helped my mom’s hand.
